Sociocracy In Action

Developing spaces where good ideas thrive!

In keeping with our desire to encourage the development of Sociocracy, SIA members have been involved in and supportive of a new group known as the Sociocracy Facilitation Practice Circle (SFPC)  This international group meets monthly for two hours by teleconference.  Anyone interested in participating in a Sociocratically run meeting or practicing their facilitation skills is invited to introduce themselves to the group by sending an email to Maggie@Sociocracyinaction.ca 

Here are our Vision, Mission and Aims statements consented to at our meeting on July 18th, 2007

Vision: We envision a world where Sociocracy is available for all to learn in English.

Mission: To provide access to Sociocratic learning opportunities using various media channels for English speaking people.

Aim:  To provide regular Sociocratic circle meetings in English to become a community of practice.

To develop a forum on the internet to enable further exploration of issues involved in sociocratic governance.

To work with certified Sociocratic experts to provide mentoring support for our circle.
